Mr. President

I can't wait for tonight just so this whole thing will be over. It's too much!

One thing I can't understand is why anyone would actually want this job right now. Our country is a mess! There is no way I would go through all of this campaigning and invasion of privacy and crap to be President. Not after Bush has messed us up so badly.

I really hope Obama wins!

I don't think I would want to be president either. It's too much work and we know who ever is in there is going to come out looking old.

I would actually love to be president. I love power and would love to be apart of making a positive change for all people!

The next president will have a lot of hard work ahead of him, but when you can and do change something from bad to better, you feel great. I just hope whoever wins, they will change things from bad to better for all people.

Yesterday, I had something to do so the kids went to their old sitter's house for a few hours. We got home later than intended so I knew I would be rushing to prepare dinner, get them bathed, and settled for the night. Here's what really happened. In Memory...

Staff Sergeant Javares Washington was killed in Kuwait. He was my cousin. My cousin died yesterday...in Kuwait...and I'm so very sad. I feel like I can't breathe. My heart is broken. We grew up like siblings. His mom had him at a very young age. She wasn't ready to take care of him. So, he lived with us for years. He was like my brother. And now, I'm in shock. I'm going to miss him so much. The military has only said he was in a government vehicle on patrol and it flipped over. We don't know what caused the flip or anything. I want to go home. He was married and had two children. His son, Jayden, is 6 years old and looks just like him. His daughter, Tristin, is 9 months old. My heart is broken.

Love at First Sight

I am absolutely in love with this little girl. Danica was born with a heart murmur but we found out today it's no longer there. We are so happy with this little perfect being and can't wait to get to know her more.
