I Need Help!

I have a serious condition and I need one of you to help me find a cure.

My name is Bridgette and I'm a procrastinator.

Because of this, I will be extremely busy this week doing things I could've done a month ago.

*****

Danae got mad with me last week. We were in a store looking at baby clothes. I picked up some baby girl clothes and she asked if it was for her sister. I told her it's for another baby. She told me I don't need to buy clothes for another baby because she has a sister who needs clothes. I reminded her that her sister won't be here for a few months. That girl is nothing if not loyal to her siblings. She can beat Brayden down but will kill someone else for messing with him. Crazy!

*****

Brayden now has the habit of getting in his sister's bed to sleep with her at night. The problem is he sleeps so wild that he ends up kicking her out of her own bed. And, she won't sleep in his bed because she still sees it as a crib even though it's been converted to the toddler bed. So, she comes to my room whining about Brayden. Of course, his response is that he loves Danae. How can you be mad with that one? But, we still make him get out. She needs her beauty sleep, you know.

I'm sorry you got in trouble for buying Bethany some clothes. Did you tell her that people might buy her sister some clothes and that she could wear some of Danae's old clothes? She probably wouldn't go for that huh?
You procrastinate because you know you have time.

I have no advice on the procrastination thing. I have been home for 13 weeks and only have one more to go. I have not completed more than half the things on my list that need to be done and time is running out!

And cute story about the kids. Brayden get out of your sisters bed!

YOU ONLY PROCRASTINATE BECAUSE YOU KNOW YOU HAVE TIME. THE ONLY WAY TO GET OUT OF THIS CYCLE IS JUST MAKE YOURSELF DO IT.

BROTHER AND SISTERLY LOVE. ISN'T THAT NICE. TELL DANAE SHE BETTER KICK HIM OUT OF THE BED SO SHE CAN GET HER BEAUTY REST.

Some people work best under pressure or so they say. But as a for the most part reformed procrastinator I'd say the busier you are the more efficient you become b/c it is human nature to take as long as you have to do something.

Cute story. I remember Lori & I used to do that unfortunately I wanted my space before she was ready to go but I remember we used to have so much fun for hours after we were supposed to be asleep.

Listen to me - STOP PROCRASTINATING!!! Listen to me - STOP PROCRASTINATING!!! Remember, God is watching and you need to STOP PROCRASTINATING!!! O.K. Did that help? If not, I will keep you in my prayers.

The stories were too funny. I can't wait to see our two children sleeping in the same bed together because they can't sleep in ours. There is nothing like the bond you have with your siblings.

Motherhood

Yesterday, I had something to do so the kids went to their old sitter's house for a few hours. We got home later than intended so I knew I would be rushing to prepare dinner, get them bathed, and settled for the night. Here's what really happened. As soon as we entered the house, Brayden started running around saying "Mommy, I have to pee". So we rush into the bathroom and as soon as his pants are unbuttoned, he starts peeing on himself. I clean him up and decide they can play in the tub while I start preparing dinner. As soon as we get to the kitchen, Danica throws up all over me, herself, and the floor. So, I take her to our bathroom and bathe her. Before I can get her pj's buttoned up, Brayden starts screaming "I have to pee!" Because he just went all over the bathroom floor, I'm a little perplexed. I run to their bathroom anyway only to find out he didn't have to pee, he had to poop and had already dropped two bombs in the bathtub where his s...

In Memory...

Staff Sergeant Javares Washington was killed in Kuwait. He was my cousin. My cousin died yesterday...in Kuwait...and I'm so very sad. I feel like I can't breathe. My heart is broken. We grew up like siblings. His mom had him at a very young age. She wasn't ready to take care of him. So, he lived with us for years. He was like my brother. And now, I'm in shock. I'm going to miss him so much. The military has only said he was in a government vehicle on patrol and it flipped over. We don't know what caused the flip or anything. I want to go home. He was married and had two children. His son, Jayden, is 6 years old and looks just like him. His daughter, Tristin, is 9 months old. My heart is broken.

Love at First Sight

I am absolutely in love with this little girl. Danica was born with a heart murmur but we found out today it's no longer there. We are so happy with this little perfect being and can't wait to get to know her more.
